Lehtinen Labs Ltd built the Bedtime Police app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Lehtinen Labs Ltd and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Bedtime Police unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

App permissions

The app offers a feature that allows incoming calls during your set bedtime hours if you opt for it. To enable this, the app will request permission to read your phone state. This access is used solely to detect incoming calls. The app does not make or manage calls. No call details or personal data are collected or stored. You have complete control over this feature, with the ability to enable or disable it as needed.

The app may also request the following permissions to provide its core functionality:

• Display over other apps – Used to display the block screen overlay during bedtime hours.
• Accessibility Service – Used to enforce the block mode and prevent circumvention. The Accessibility Service does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
• Device Administrator – Used to prevent the app from being force-stopped during bedtime hours. No device administration capabilities beyond this are used.
• Network access and network state – Used for server connectivity and to detect network availability for restoring block mode after connectivity loss.
• Run after device restart – Used to restore scheduled bedtime block mode and reminders after the device is restarted.

These permissions are used solely for the app’s intended functionality. No personal data is collected through these permissions.

In-app purchases are validated against our backend server. Only the purchase token and product identifier are sent for validation. No personally identifiable information is sent to or stored on our server.

Third-party services

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• SolarWinds Loggly (used for app diagnostics log storage)

Log Data

The app maintains local log files on your device to help diagnose issues. These logs are never sent automatically. You can choose to send them to the app developer by pressing “Send logs to the app developer” in the Help screen. When you do, the Log Data is sent to SolarWinds Loggly, a third-party log management service. Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local log files on your device are automatically deleted after 3 days. If you sent logs to the app developer, the remotely stored Log Data is automatically deleted after 7 days. We do not store your personal data beyond these periods. You can remove all local data immediately by uninstalling the app. If you wish to have remotely stored Log Data removed before the automatic deletion period, you can send a request to [email protected].

Cookies

This Service does not use cookies. However, the app may contain links to external websites that may use cookies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• To facilitate our Service;
• To provide the Service on our behalf;
• To perform Service-related services; or
• To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to their Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
